Soft Landing Services in Mexico

Soft landing is everything between the decision to enter Mexico and the day your operation actually functions: a place to work, people to do the work, a payroll to pay them and a coordinated set of local providers behind it all.

The classic failure pattern is sequential dependency. The office cannot be signed until the entity exists, the entity cannot be banked until documents are apostilled, the first hires cannot start until payroll is registered, and each provider only knows their own step.

We run those workstreams in parallel and hold the critical path. Where a step genuinely blocks, we use a bridge: employ the launch team through EOR, operate from serviced workspace, invoice through supported administrative arrangements until your own capability is live.

The scope flexes by ambition. A five-person commercial beachhead in Mexico City and a 200-person plant ramp in Saltillo are the same discipline at very different scales, but both are won or lost on sequencing rather than strategy.

Definition

Soft landing

A market-entry service package that provides a foreign company with the workspace, workforce, administration and local provider coordination needed to operate in the target country before its own infrastructure is complete.

What you get

Location & site assessment

City and site shortlisting against wage levels, talent depth, logistics and incentive landscape.

Workspace, equipment & fleet

Serviced or leased space, hardware, connectivity, security and vehicle coordination.

Launch-team recruitment

Country manager, operations lead, finance and the first functional hires who make the site real.

HR, payroll & benefits setup

Employment documentation, IMSS enrolment, payroll calendars and market-aligned benefits.

Provider coordination

Legal, notarial, tax, immigration and accounting providers sequenced against one critical path.

Entity transition & handover

A dated migration of people, payroll and vendors onto your own entity when you are ready.

Frequently asked questions

What are soft landing services?+

The operational and administrative support that lets a foreign company begin functioning in Mexico quickly: location assessment, workspace and equipment, vendor sourcing, launch-team recruitment, HR and payroll setup, and coordination of legal, tax, immigration and accounting providers.

Is soft landing the same as offshoring as a service?+

It overlaps. Soft landing focuses on establishing your own presence and eventually handing it to you. Managed BPO focuses on us permanently running a function for you. Many clients use soft landing first and keep some functions with us afterwards.

Do you provide the legal and tax work directly?+

We coordinate qualified Mexican legal, notarial, tax, immigration and accounting providers and hold the critical path across them. Regulated professional work is performed by those licensed providers, not by us.

What happens once the operation is running?+

You choose. Some clients take everything in-house at a defined handover date; others keep payroll, HR administration or recruitment with us and run the rest themselves.
