Structure review before we quote
We confirm the activity, supervision and contracting entity, then recommend specialized services, an employment-provider structure or direct hire, and document why.
Flexible capacity, compliant structure
Staff augmentation in Mexico adds vetted specialists to your program without adding permanent headcount. Because Mexican law restricts the supply of personnel for a client's own core activity, we deliver the capacity through the structure that fits the facts: a specialized-services or SOW scope that we employ and supervise, an employment-provider structure, or direct hire onto your Mexican entity.

Most international teams ask for staff augmentation when a roadmap, a plant ramp or a service line needs capability faster than a permanent hiring cycle allows. The requirement is real. The delivery structure is what determines whether the arrangement is defensible in Mexico.
We start from the work itself: what the person will do, who directs it, whether it is part of your predominant business activity, which entity is contracting, and how long the need lasts. That analysis picks the model. It is not a sales preference.
The commercial result is the same either way: qualified people working in your time zone, a single Mexico contract, one invoice, one accountable delivery lead and a clear path to convert to your own payroll when you want it.
Staff augmentation, defined for Mexico
Adding external specialist capacity to an existing team for a defined period, delivered under a lawful Mexican employment or specialized-services structure rather than as generic personnel supply.
We confirm the activity, supervision and contracting entity, then recommend specialized services, an employment-provider structure or direct hire, and document why.
Role brief, current market compensation for the city, availability read and a shortlist that reflects what candidates will actually accept.
IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAR, state payroll tax, aguinaldo, vacation premium and profit-sharing treatment administered on the employing entity.
A named delivery lead, agreed reporting cadence, replacement terms and escalation path, with XCAILE providing workflow and reporting visibility.
Engineering, software, data, quality, maintenance, finance, customer operations and bilingual professional roles across all 32 Mexican states.
Agreed conversion mechanics to your own entity, no exclusivity, no lock-in and defined notice periods.
| Situation | Better model | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ongoing core-activity role you will keep for years | Permanent recruitment onto your entity | Long-term core work belongs with your own employing entity and is cheaper over time. |
| You have no Mexican entity and need people now | Employment solution, then entity transition | Employment infrastructure exists on day one and you keep the option to incorporate later. |
| A defined deliverable with its own scope and acceptance | SOW or specialized services | We employ and supervise the team and own the outcome, with REPSE where legally required. |
| A whole function you would rather not manage | BPO or managed services | You buy service levels and outcomes instead of individual capacity. |
| Short-term surge on an existing internal team | Staff augmentation | Fast capacity with defined duration and a documented compliant structure. |
| Genuine independent professionals | AOR and contractor administration | Only after a classification review confirms the relationship is not disguised employment. |
Team-building and operating proof
Autodesk: Regional growth without carrying the operating burden
Autodesk needed local talent and operating capacity to support long-term Latin America growth without absorbing every market's operating mechanics.
Gracemark built and ran the in-region teams behind the expansion so Autodesk could stay focused on customers and strategy.

What we commit to on this type of engagement
Supplying personnel to perform a client's own predominant business activity under the client's direction is prohibited. Flexible capacity is delivered lawfully in one of three ways: the specialist is employed by your Mexican entity, employed through an employment-provider structure where that is appropriate to the facts, or employed and supervised by us under a specialized-services or SOW scope registered under REPSE where required.
It depends on the structure. Under a specialized-services or SOW scope, we supervise our employees and own the contracted deliverable, while you set priorities and acceptance criteria. Under an employment-provider or direct-hire structure, day-to-day direction sits with your organization as the operating employer of the role.
Bench-adjacent and high-availability profiles typically move from brief to start in two to four weeks. Scarce senior engineering, bilingual technical and regulated-industry profiles typically take four to eight weeks. Timelines are confirmed against the actual role, city and salary band before we commit.
Yes. Conversion terms are agreed in the contract at the start. There is no exclusivity and no lock-in, and transition to your own Mexican entity is a supported outcome, not a penalty.
One specialist. Programs commonly start with one or two roles and expand into a pod, a managed function or a full nearshore team.
